I did a few things to the Jeep today

I put my NAXJA Member Decal on it

Received my Spartan Locker and showed my wife how it goes together and works

Sanded an put on the a couple coat of black paint on The header panel that came in the mail today also

Sanded/ Applied the first coat of paint on the P/S fender that I have been meaning to paint since I bought the XJ in November.

I had also removed the Synthetic rope on my winch so I could run the the rope through the hawse like it should be.

I took a pic of the finish on the header/ passenger fender after they were painted, sanded, and compounded , I still need to hit them with my buffer I plan to get that done on Wed.

Did a little wheeling this weekend . Tested the locker and gastank skid which worked extremely well.

I had also managed to Prove to someone on JF that told me I could not make it where I did unless I had 5.5 inches or more of lift and 35's on my Jeep and body damage. Well they will be eating crow I made it with 3" lift and 31's and had zero damage, I guess he is a web wheeler that does not know anything

Loving your build sir. I just bought my own 2001 XJ Sport in Black and cannot WAIT to get it build up. I want to do 3" on 31's as well since I need it to behave on the road while still being enough of a Jeep to tackle some medium-duty off roading

Sub'd and definitely coming back to glean some information from your experiences and processes. Thanks for sharing!

No one forced you to join! Don't like it, then leave. But don't include "most" of the UJC if you've got a problem with one.
