Thanks man, you are the only one that has seen it from the day we pulled the headliner material off the TJ hardtop and started cutting the top into pieces.

Oops, mobile app fail... Was supposed to say something like:

How about a short. HD video walk around to commemorate the half way point?

I can't wait to see everything coated in cosmos, its the best color

On a side note, how much do you think it costs the average customer to have a hood professionally painted with 2 colors?

I am itching to see the whole Jeep Cosmos Blue also.

You could probably expect to pay ~320 + tax for a 2 tone job at just about any shop.

I am back to working on this Project again. It's freezing cold out there and all I have is a space heater right now. I got the rear axle under the Jeep and the pinion angle set. I will tack both the spring pads tomorrow night and sit the Jeep down on its own weight in the rear to see how the springs are going to act. If they are good then I can figure out where the shackle bushings will be placed in the frame. I also plan on tacking the bed mounts on the frame so I can remove the bed till final assembly. Once the bed is removed I can remove the tub and take it to work where it's 70 degrees and finish the body work.

I also moved the front axle out where I want it positioned WB set at 116. I need to pick up some 2x3 box tubing because the front frame section from the motor mounts forward is going away. I refuse to lift the Jeep any higher, so I need to build in some up travel up front. If I replace the frame up front with 2x3 I can keep the Jeep really low and still have 5" of usable up travel and the ballistic coil spring mounts will not give me any troubles. I am going to move the steering box up and back towards the tub because of the Astro steering box. It is reversed to the TJ box, meaning the pit man arm points forward. This is perfect for the 4" stretch up front.

Just watch where you have to put those coil buckets. They hang out there a good bit.

::SELLING HALF OF MY JEEP::

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f33/?uid=152304

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

IndyORV- Dick and fart jokes, titties, throttle, flops, beer, tater balls, and good times.

Jimmy, I noticed that last night. Part of it will be addressed with straightening the frame out, the rest will have to be modified like you did. I am guessing they are designed for the CJ frame and to be used with full width axles. Either way I believe they will work once I get them burned in.

Didn't want to get all dirty tonight so I passed on tack welding the bed mounts and axle brackets. I did spend about an hour bonding the 2 piece top together. I have to work tomorrow, maybe I can find time to finish the body work where the 2 pieces go together on the hard top. The bonding compound should be dry by morning. Should have some pictures by Sunday. Maybe even that HD walk around video.
