I decided early this morning that I was not up for working all day on DD. So I got a little more of the structure done on the driver side corner. Next up, pull the back panel back off. Finish up the spot welds and clean up any ugly edges. Then reinstall the back panel for the final time and work the new corner skins around the corners racking as I go. Maybe next weekend.

Smart move, keep it fun. No need to hurry, it's a hobby project, not a job.
The trick is to keep it fun working on it

As you noticed I reserved 10 spots on the first page for build. The 1000 pages later for the banter and answers to questions.

Is there a benefit to having the cab separate from the bed? Besides just a more authentic truck look? i guess i never understood why trucks have the cab separate

No benefit. The TJ I started with had been comp cut. And I have always wanted a JeepTJ truck. But, refuse to pay for the AEV kit. So, I will just spend a year or so building my own.

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

I have a TJ tub from the doors back that will make a very nice bed with a little work. I just need to get the cab finished first. Then the frame. After all that it will be time to make the bed.

This is seriously going to be awesome. I had a couple questions while reading the first few pages...found answers in the banter that followed. If you were to find some time, you could say stuff like "questions about [insert topic, like 'tailgate setup'] answered on pages 7 and 8". That way people won't have to sift thru the 1000 pages that seem to develop every time you build something bad@s$ and put it on JF.com.

Noted. I will add that to page one also. This build should be easily referenced from page 1 when I am finished.

As far as the banter. It keeps the build entertaining. I mean that's why we document all this anyways right?

Gribbles... I need a few good pictures of yours or Smokes front frame spring mounts for Reference. I am building my own so a few pictures would help.
