Got the back of the cab tacked together today. Tomorrow the game plan is to skin the corners of the cab and make it all one piece again. It's coming together great just as I was imagining last June when I originally got the idea of building a truck.

They are Hutchinson/Mopar beadlocks. They are double beadlocks too which is nice.

Don't know yet about the spare. But, I do have plans for a cut down MJ tailgate. Not 36 inches wide like a TJ or Cj. Something more like 40-42 inches wide and drop down.

Yeah, probably just a removable carrier that attaches to the roll bar in the bed somehow. Or through the floor and attach to the frame like a 5th wheel hitch on a real truck.

that should be a lol tail gate, good idea with comanche gate. Just an idea but u know how the have those fold away tube style cargo bed holders on like a ford pick up would look great with the spare mounted on it. I will find a photo and post it. That way u would be able to put the tailgate down fold the tube style tire carrier to the back and u would have enough space for something like a dirt bike or whatever. just an idea.
