I had the bed at work, which is a full service body shop. Better to paint it before I carry it home, then have to take it back.

The plan is to take the cab in to work to finish it along with the fenders, hood, and grille.

Figured I would share this, I found 5 2010 rubi wheels in the carbon gray for 150.00. That's my kinda luck. Oh well I have the 5 silver ones I can paint if I do not leave them silver.

Anyway, let me know if anyone wants them I can pick them up.

It's going to be a few weeks before work resumes on dumpster. I would still like to have the Jeep completely painted by the end of Summer. I want to be building suspension and cage by Mid Fall. Then wiring and motor rebuilding and transfer case rebuild in the winter months.

That's the timeline I am trying to stick to as close as possible.

So, I am finally going to pick up the front axle for this project. After I finish up the current work on The Flop project. I will be hitting it hard to finish the body work, frame and Suspension before Winter. Then all the wiring and engine and trans work this winter.

Just to give you guys and idea of where the project stands.

I will be looking for a pair of 4 or 4.5 inch Currie or AEV coil springs for the front.

Is that a D30 and transmission in the trunk of an Acura? Impressive trunk space!

Yes my 2009 TSX with the seat folded down. I measured 4 times and headed 200 miles away to pick it up.

It was a trick getting the axle in and back out without scratching the pretty new paint job. But, we made it in and out without any problems.

Congrats on the JK D30 John! I've been too busy and haven't been looking for mine, major jealous. If you happen to know of any other JK D30 (or super cheap JK D44) for sale let me know. This will be on my "almost, but not quite yet" list.

And I give you huge props for tackling two awesome jeep builds at once. I sometimes wonder how some of you guys (you know who you are) get so much done on individual builds.. but when I get stuck on something or want to give up for the day, I say to myself "damn it don't be a *****.. John works on two jeeps at once"
