Yeah, I also had a set on my red Jeep a few years ago. They were the second favorite tire I have owned.

17" rim is a good choice built it so it will clear 37's, run 35's when you get bored with those you can step up. Johnny likes to change his mind so it would be smart to built for future change in plans. Saves a lot of work and time.
25's will work out better clearance wise for that oh so pretty bed and bed liner. Would be shame to hack on it for tire clearance

MTRs with Kevlar.
Art, you know I will build it to clear the 37s run the 35s. Then step up to big boy axles and tires in a few years.

Just bought a set of the same with 100mi on them. $400. Can't beat the deal and I'll be sure to post up my review of their performance. Really only considered them because I'd seen you say they were good and the price was spectacular.

Some people say they are loud after they get to about 50%. But, they probably never road in a Jeep with Pitbulls on it.

FYI, I just put some Hercules Terra Trac 315/75 r16's (35"s) on the H3 Alpha (switched from Kumho 35" M/Ts) and it feels like I added 20hp to the car. The road noise is completely gone and I just drove 500 miles this weekend, averaging over 3mpg better than my best tank ever on the Kumhos.
The 20hp "feeling" comes from the 16lbs per tire I dropped by switching over from the very heavy Kumhos.

Pitbulls in the passing lane = a massive, 1 mile diameter swarm of killer bumble bees en route to kill you.
At least that was my take on them. They sound legit.

Pitbulls and Krawlers pretty much sing the same song. Loud as heavy metal thunder

Took a wheel and tire off Flop tonight to see how it looks. I like it a lot. I could tube the rear like the front tubes and still keep the rig low with raised flares about 3-4 inches higher than stock. And run these 37s and 40s later. Or i could raise the jeep up about 3 inches to the ride height of flop and be good with only raising the flares 2 inches.
Or i can run stock JK Rubi 32s and live with how she sits.
