So you're ditching the factory rear flares then?

Yeah the tire will not fit. I would have to run 33s or smaller. I really want to run 37s.
Or I could run highline rear flares like AEV

After seeing the bed/cab mated together, I think a custom metal flare will match the Rokmen fenders better and create a more cohesive look. I never cared much for how massive the AEV flares look.

Not much into cloaks... But, I do have a plan to build tube flares to match the ROKMEN tubes. I have a stick of Dom on its way for some other little projects. So, it will come in handy for tube flares also.

will u make the flares the same gunmetal gray? I think the color looks very good together. I agree with u that the matching flares will be a better way to go.

Maybe, but probably just the edge of the tube, and the flat part body color.
This will be a LCOG Jeep, that's the reason for hilines and rear hilines, is to keep the Jeep low to the ground.

You're making the right choice matching the front tube fenders. It would have looked somewhat unfinished with tubes in front and plastic flairs out back. Looking forward to seeing more Hendrix. This thing is going to be sweet.

I'd go with the entire flare that color. Really make it stand out. How about a design for bolt in rear flares that incorporated some detachable mud flaps since you may be towing with it

That would be cool to have when I am pulling my future tub style pop up camper.

So I am rethinking tire size for Dumpster.. Tire availability has me troubled. I can get 35s easily. The desired tire for this jeep is 37 but none have been available for months. So I am thinking 35 inch MTRs or Kumho Road ventures. I like them both and they are priced the same. I am leaning more towards the 35X12.50x17 MTRS.
