So much work has led up to this day it's unreal when I think about it. All I can hope for is a safe trip down the driveway and back. My plan is to be driving her full time by next weekend.
Hell, my heart is even pumping fast. I can't imagine what you must be going through. Good luck with your heart and watch our for those gawkers that are going to run into you out on the street. There is no way they are going to be able to keep their eyes off of this thing. Since your car usually heads the direction you are looking I think it's safe to say your are doomed. I know one thing for sure if I saw you on the road I would be following you and waiting for you to stop. That thing is just plain awesome. Words just can't say enough. Congratulations on this amazing project and your continued effort to get it finished. Wish I lived closer. This thing makes me want to buy a plane ticket just to come and see it. Commendable job to say the least.

Give yourself some time to build the cage and get that right so it flows with the rest of the Jeep. At the rate you have been going you probably could be finished by next weekend but don't rush it Can't wait to see it cruising down the road!

Not doing a full cage at the moment. I purchased a pair of BTF sanctions to attach my tubes for the seat mounts and working off the factory B pillar. It will get me rolling till I can bend up a full cage that drops through the dash.

Oh, nice! I guess I missed that if you already mentioned it a few pages back. I thought you were going to try and build a full custom cage AND finish all the other final details to get it to DD status in just 1 week. I was only concerned for your sanity

What would you do if someone t-boned you the first week of driving the new rig? That thought is always in the back of my mind when driving.

Then I collect the INS money and start rebuilding. NO worries.
