Ive made 2 driveshafts using XJ ones...i use a sleeve that just barely fits inside the tube, so it keeps everything aligned. Works great for lengthening or shortening. give me a shout if you need a hand! Im ready to see you driving this thing around town!

Thanks, I am very happy with it. The back is finished other than inner fenders and spare holder in the bed. And I need to repaint the bedsides from scratches.

I guess it is a good thing you never painted it red after all.

Are you still looking for a driveshaft for the rear? I have a cv shaft I ihad made for my xj a few years ago just taking up space now. I can get measurements for you if you are interested. Dave's Driveshaft in Nashville made it for me before I moved out here to CO

If somehow you figure out how to produce one of these in less then the 23 months its taken you sign me up for one. Normally not a fan of the TJ truck idea but this one looks so so good
