Ocala is really nice. My dad and I used to ride dirt bikes there when we lived in Orlando.

$200.00 actually then sold off some parts to come in even or positive.

I figure a safe bet would be an average of 10 hrs a week for 14 months is a good estimate.

Project has taken 21 months so far.

Thanks, the next week or so is going to be pretty emotional. It finally hit me Saturday how much of a project this is. I was looking at the almost complete Jeep and noticing there is only a handful of things I did not build myself or modify to fit my needs.

That's probably not ft Myers beach. That's probably the island of sanibel. But really who cares right, lots of sunshine for topless Jeep days.

I'm in fl...went to school in St. Pete. .. could go topless/doorless September-March...less rain & heat those months & I had a garage to park in.

...downside. ..Ft. Myers is too hot imo, I don't know how people deal with the heat any farther south than St. Pete

I finally figured out which accessory brackets are on my 4.0. They are grand cherokee 4.0 brackets, so I picked up a GC AC compressor Saturday and lines from pick a part. I will take the TJ lines I got from Jforse down with the ones off the GC and have custom lines built when its time to get some cold AC blowing. I had the space the AC compressor higher to clear the fitting on the with the CO hoops. Probably have the hose shop put a high side fitting on the hose and eliminate the fill point on the side of the compressor that's giving me the trouble.

Should be able to knock out a few more little items on the list tonight.

Probably going to look into putting the battery back under the hood. I did not factor in high water crossings when I decided on relocating the battery to the underside of the Jeep. As soon as I here from Rokmen on a battery tray I will figure that out.

When my t case gets here I can set it in place and order a rear DS.

Anyone used a teraflex yoke conversion on the jk44s?

5 years down there was not so bad. My wife is already looking at homes on Remax. She has found a few with shops already built on 2.5 acre lots and one on 6 acre lot.

I hear ya, the 6 hour round trip is the worst part about going to the Badlands. I usually have to talk myself into it.

Child's play! I did an 8hr round trip to Hollister last weekend. 460miles, 16hrs in the seat of the jeep! Good times!
