I have the tub marked and ready to cut, I hope to cut the body in half tomorrow night.

I still need another rear flare or 2 if some one has a set laying around.

Pictures uploaded on post number 2 page 1.

Got all the measuring done tonight. I forgot my spotweld drill bit at work. So, I will drill the welds tomorrow night and cut the tub up. I am hoping for a full day of work this weekend. I just need to get the cab welded up and sheetmetal work finished so I can haul the cab to work for body repair in January.

Are the final axles decided on a HP30 and 8.8?

Your going to love mid arms, i love mine, great ground clearence, good ride quality on road, climbs like a mountain goat offroad, huge improvement from radius arms.

Looks like a fun build man, good luck with it.

Yeah, I really like my Mid arms on the other Jeep.

And no...the HP30 and 8.8 are just to get it up and running. The Ultimate axles will be something that can handle 40s. But, that is many years down the road.

I got a lot done this morning with the cab. The back of the jeep is gone and the back of the cab is taking shape. I did run out of cutoff wheels and my sawzall died. Out to the store to replace those. Then I can get the structure of the cab all tacked together today.

Pictures later tonight...

Update

Pictures on page one with details....

The more I look at this project, I wanted to be around LJ wb at 103.4 It may need to be longer to keep everything looking right. But I will have a TJ departure angle. So, I may just build it and see where everything ends up.

Thanks, I have to get something going on it. I want to have the cab done by the end of January. Mix that in with the little stuff I need to do to flop leaves me with little time for anything else. But, I live for the pressure.
