Got the driver side flare tacked together today, I will take them to work next week to final weld and skin.

Looks like the wife and I will be building the brake lines tomorrow if time allows. I set a short list of things to finish this weekend since its been raining for 3 days already.

Installing the following:

radiator and hoses,
trans lines
Brake lines
cooling fan
Fuel lines and vent hoses
Vent hoses for axles and trans

I just need to extend the driver side then the flares are ready to skin.

I used the black a white to show the flare better. To me the blue was a little distracting.

A few from the front.

Back to the front end, everything is finished except bolting up the DS, adding fluid, and torquing all the bolts down.

Some sexy steering.

And a few more from the back. Spare in location, I just have to cut the hole through the floor for the mount.

That is by far the sexiest thing I've ever seen

Very cool tire mount. Can't wait to see what you do with the final cage.

Funny, I have had so many people ask the very same thing. I went as far as researching an easier way to build one.

Not that far.

If I started with a running and driving LJ. 3 month timeline.

AEV cab section, AEV or Gr8 tops extended half cab, custom bulk head for the bed, custom frame sections, custom cab and front bed mounts. With an estimated 10k and a good running Jeep it could be a decent turn around.

Why do you say that? I would hate to be 1000s of miles from home without one. I did not need a bed on the Jeep either but I bulit one. Maybe its not very usable, but that was not the reason for building it.

It just looks like you built the bed to carry the spare. I would run W/O the spare unless you're going on a long trip. I'm just mess'in with ya, great work!!!!
It's gonna look the badazz with the top and doors removed.

Taken totally as sarcasm, I see where your coming from.

I too cannot wait to see it with no doors and top.

You could always use one of Jeff's trailer beds at www.dinoot.com for the bed.
