Here's that update guys.

The flares are bolt on Kyle, I was thinking about welding. But incase of an accident I want to be able to just replace them separately.

I just need to extend the driver side then the flares are ready to skin.

I used the black a white to show the flare better. To me the blue was a little distracting.

A few from the front.

Back to the front end, everything is finished except bolting up the DS, adding fluid, and torquing all the bolts down.

Some sexy steering.

And a few more from the back. Spare in location, I just have to cut the hole through the floor for the mount.

From what i can see of your steering, Does your pitman arm clear the tie rod at full bump on both sides? Looks mighty close. Cause mine used to hit when i turned until i flipped the heim above the pitman arm. Obviously you can't do that though.

no doors, no top, no problems

No chance at all of the pitman arm hitting anything. It's just an illusion. There's not enough up travel to get the tie rod up that high.

Hooollyyyy heart rates. Damn, just looking at the pictures gets me excited. It is coming together amazingly well. Everything works, looks and fits better than I could have ever imagined. Perfect. Man, you know how to humble a fellow Jeeper. Sure wish I could spend an afternoon checking this out in detail. Outstanding work and ability to make a vision reality. Just plain SICK!!

Very nice work Hendrix! Maybe off base question but have you considered a tire carrier or baja style spare carrier to move the spare back further? Might help balance the rig out a bit better, make it a bit more proportional and give your more usable bed space. Keep up the good work!

Very inspiring, I love the details on your rig, the huge rear window, the lines between the cab and bed, your rear flares are kick *** looking forward to seeing them with skins. You have to be psyched that its nearing completion!

I could bring the spare back about another inch with the Rokmen tailgate. I did think about a baja style carrier without a tailgate, but not real practical. thanks.

Thanks guys for the kind words, it's been hard to even keep at it this long. It will be 2 years in November and I want it to be sitting in the driveway not the garage by then. I have a professional photographer lined up to do a full photo shoot and completion video of the rig once it's 100%. With what we have been discussing it should be pretty Epic.
