no problem, I picked up a set of parts store specials for mock up, I will return them when I get yours.

Speaking of budget.....figured I could blow some minds and show why it's best to shop for used and build whatever you can.

Today with all consumables added in grinding wheels, shielding gas ect.... Money out of pocket 4761.00

Parts transferred from flop if I had to buy again. 6000.00~

Grand total 10761.00

And that doesn't include his labor, paint/bodywork and so forth, so double that figure.

Still. I'd pay $22k for this all day long. You know, if I had that money

Yeah, did not add labor, or paint costs. I did include the spray in bed liner.

Picked up a bestop soft top to build a custom top for the truck also. I will be saving that project for next spring at the earliest.

I have a pile of old hwy signs to build my fan shroud out of, collected the last parts needed to build all the brake lines and fuel line this weekend. Going to finish up the flares next week then get them painted. Plan on building the tail light harness and AW4 harness over the 4 th of July weekend. Then it's time to see if she runs at all.

It's getting closer guys!

Did you bend the rear flares ? They look good , and thats not as simple a bend to make as it looks . I hope it fires right up when the time comes .

No, I bought the tubes from jeeptubes.com. I did not buy a 1.5 die for my bender. Yet! Me to.... I don't know if the motor runs or the trans is any good.

Sorry guys but progress is coming to a halt again. I am backing away for a while, I think I am burnt out again. My wife says just back away for a few weeks and resume then. It's probaby just the Heat. Working 9 hr days in the heat and a few hours every night, really gives me no time for rest.

I will update to thread sometime this weekend with some good pictures of the little things I have been knocking out. Then get back at it in a few weeks.
