Yes they did. I took them a section of the upper body lines. He said maybe. Then he called and said there done. Unfortunately I have to build the frame for the bed before i can see how it all looks.

Yeah, reusing the factory corner panels in the rear. And the front will hug the cab panel. Like a Chevy, Ford, or RAM. This way there is no visible gap.

I wish I could do body work like this. I think it's awesome all the hand-fabricating that your putting into this build. The whole thing will be entirely unique which is what I'm always going for.

I'm sure I could learn but you make it look easy with the work so far and the work on your Hi-line hood and I know it's not. I'll be trying my hand at sheet metal work where I cut my floor to clear the UCAs but i don't expect it to be pretty. I pretty much just want to close up the floor to keep things from falling through or water/dirt from coming in.

Yeah Bro, just cannot leave everything alone, or be happy with the one Jeep.

I started out pretty hard at it. But have slowed the pace do to a killer cold and my 9 year anniversary. So, I will resume the project here this week some time. I have to drop the plans off to Duck welding and supply for all the bed components, crossmembers and stuff.

Change number 1 in build plans.

I decided to go with JK axles under this Jeep also. Found a killer deal on a complete JK44 rear and had to go with it. It will easy to do. Just clean all the brackets off and weld on some leaf perches and shock mounts. I may also go ahead with the traction bar also while I am at it. I will pick up the axle in a few weeks so stay tuned.

I ordered up the new LJ belt rails today from our parts department at work. Along with the factory corner panels for the back of the bed. Hope to see them in a few days. I may make me a table to build the bed on this weekend. That way I can build the bed behind the truck cab without having to build the whole frame on the Jeep at this time. If I can get the bed mocked up just a little I will know how much frame I need to build. Going to drop off the plans for the bed crossmembers tomorrow for Ron to cost them out for me. Hope to get back at it soon.

LJ belt rails and TJ corner repair panels came in today. I need to finish the cab, then its time to make a bed for this dude. I am going to finish up the cab Saturday and Sunday. Because next Saturday I have to go to Chattanooga to pick up the JK44. Then the big game on Sunday.

Stay tuned update with pictures coming soon.
