Crawling won't subscribe you I don't think. FWIW, you can subscribe by using "Thread tools" at the top of the thread without actually posting. Obviously, you post and you're automatically subscribed too.

Truck bed update....

I stopped off at the metal shop today. Great news they are going to be able to break the complicated bend that needs to be on the top edge of the bed sides. I will be making a one off bed out of a series of crossmembers and flat panels I have been drawing out on paper for weeks. This should be what sets this truck apart from the rest. As soon as I pick up the panels from the metal shop I will post pictures.

So Excited....

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Hornblasters Shocker S4 horn set with some extras $210 shipped. (It is not OBA, just an accessory for OBA)

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

Bedsides will be ready for pick up on Monday. Had them made out of 20 gauge steel. No wheel openings and unfinished bottom edge. The cab I made out of 16 gauge for structural purposes. But, the bed needs to be a bit lighter, with all the box tube and bed floor its going to be a little on the heavy side.

Sooo... I got a phone call late today, the panels for the bed sides are done ahead of schedule. AWESOME.

It will be a few weeks before i get time to actually build the bed. But, I wanted to have them on hand when the time came. The total length of the bed will be just over 52 inches. I know its short, but it will be proportional to the Jeep. This will give the build overall length of a LJ without all the junk in the trunk. I just need to find a CJ tail gate for cheap.

Picture of that complex bend.
