I actually have the one out of the donor the trans and motor came out of. It was a 2001 XJ.

I need a 97 manual PCM to get it smog checked and to run the AW4.

Stick with the one you have, better air flow and it fixes the cracked manifold problem that Flop had/has.... I've got the same problem on my XJ, decided to use parts I still have left over from the old XJ and spare parts from the MJ stroker motor.

I see, so have the exhaust shop build me a custom 2 in to 1 down pipe and crossover like the TJ has under the oil pan.

with the track bar mount on the frame like that how are you planning to run an antirock? Cause i'm in the same predicament, and the mount will get in the way of where the antirock should drop.

Bent arms will fix that issue. I will address that when the time comes. I will make sure I post a lot of pictures.

Yup, I've had a hell of a time trying to find decent quality after market replacement parts for the exhaust in front of the cat, without the pre-cats, so I'm going to have the shop down the way build me something pimp up front.

So I spent about 3 hrs last night in the garage to really accomplish nothing. I started out by cleaning up a piece of tube for the axle side track bar bracket. Then I was just about to start cutting on the inner C brace when I realized I need to finish up the steering first. Going to work on the steering tonight then finish the front suspension later this week.

After that is just a bunch of this.

I hope to be working on the back half of the frame a finishing the trans crossmember on Saturday.

Odd question, but after my several hour stint on Saturday of 6 hours straight of welding and cutting in a closed garage so I could keep my pansy *** warm - what do you do for ventilation?

By the time Saturday night ended I had a sore throat, a cough and a serious fume headache and had black as coal snot for a day. I don't want to do that again.

Well, I try to work only when there are warm days. It was 60-65 all day Saturday. The only thing you can do is lift the door a little and put a fan right at the door to pull out some fumes. If you have an attic fan you can also do that.

I usually weld a little while then open the doors to let it clear out, then close them and weld for a while longer then repeat.

Here's some pictures of the wheels XJAbuzer.

The overcast sky today really messed with the color. It's a lot darker.
