Thanks man. pretty easey except figuring out those bolts.

I mocked up the body mount skids. going to do those at the same time I lower the body lift.

Mounts are coming along. I got them all cut out today and started welding. I want somones opinion. shoud i just connect the three mounts with 2 pieces that extends between each mount to act as a slider? or stay with plan A?

here's the piece i have for the bottom. Then will reinforce the sides then either weld on the wings i mentioned earlier or flat piece extended to the other mounts(Slider)

I painted to keep surface rust off due to not being able to weld everything up at ounce

I used 3/16 steel, out of pocket is 40.00 per side. Once the body lift goes down it will fit really nice.

I ground down the welds and made it flat. also added a 1/8 angle to give it a nice solid corner and make it more ridged.

Finished my steering today. Added the Iron Rock OffRoad ti-rod which is very solid and new Moog joints

Also decided to paint it. might do a different shade. What you guys think?

Note to self. Be safer when welding/grinding. Some how(I do wear eye protection) I got a peice of metal in my eye. Optomitrist cut into my eye FREE HAND . All is ok just sore to light for a little.

Now that my eye is better. Time to start welding again. I need to get it ready for Rausch creek run for the 26th.

things to do before the trip:

1. Weld in the rear flush mount bumper.
2. change axle u-joints.
3. diff fluid change front and rear.
4. maybe clean the thing!!??

I actually was thinking that but i have been looking at what will happen as I do that via moving the radiator(if needed) or shift linkage.

More then likely that is what ill do. Im just waiting to get the flat fenders on first. Do it all in one shot.
