LCOG TJ with Growing Pains

Hey guys, James here again with something new to start building. A lot of you know me through my last build ( http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f22/b...iberty-519636/ ) which ended abruptly due to traveling restraints. Cool news is I'm still a jeep owner and have something new to play with. I bought a white 02 Wrangler Sahara. Nice things about it is it has d30/d44 combo with some 3:73 gears(For now) also the nv3500 Man. tranny which I love 1st gear ratio! Any way here are some pics.

The first is on a RTI ramp with 33” tires 2” BB and 2”Body Lift I scored a 860 which to me is not bad for what it is.

I hate the body lift and it will go down to 1.25 and Alot will change when funds allow

When I Bought it

What she looks like so Far

Now so far I have wheeled in Uwharrie once becasuse 5 months after ownership. the engine blew with only 102k but i do have some pics from that wheeling trip. BTW the jeep now has a hemi, Just kidding. actually i did get a crate engine so no building of it yet only new thing was the little light bar on the bumper you'll see in later pics

Just let you all know what i have Planned. I want to keep the height i have, fit 36" tires, of course bumpers and things, gears, lockers, the front and rear top shock mount will be hoops providing the longest possible shock. want the rear to strech some but not comp cut.

Makes sense. You got an amazing price on that 8.8. I just thought you heard something about the 44s strength vs the 8.8 that I didn't know
