Got the center console cut and fitted. The cup holders will not work as pictured (to wide). I also made a patch panel.

Added some support to the corners rocker. I used 3/16 plate from the tub tie in to angle on inner side of corner. Should help keep things in place. I also painted the underside and wheel wells.

I marked 5 clocking options, then installed the box with no studs. I rotated it and decided on option D.

The shifter for the black box was not hard, two positions. The 231 has 4 positions and the cable only has 1” of travel. I had to angle the cable for the best mechanical advantage in 2H and 4L. I also had to flip the shifter to the top on the black box to get the low/ high shift positions to match the 231. The shifters match, forward (and out of the way) is high and back is low.

Yep, I just got to post up the pictures. Flat skid is built, body is 90% ready for paint. D44 is very close.

I will get on it and post up.

Building the flat skid.
I used ¼” plate with ½” spacers off the bottom of the frame. I then used “C” chanell for the cross and added plate to the bottom to stiffen and protect the needed holes. I also used “C” cannel for the Black Box mounting point.

FYI- It took me 3 to 4 times the amount of time I had planned to build this skid and install the Black box and set up the shifters.
