Scored a good deal on a set of 35" Krawlers on Allied beadlocks. So onto the Jeep they went. It looks much larger now.

Here's a wheeling picture from today:

Nice build.

But those aren't KM2s, they're BFG Krawlers?

I just swapped out my 35" KM2's for a set of 35" Krawlers within the last two weeks. The pictures earlier in the thread are of the KM2's, the latest picture is the Krawlers.

Sharp looking jeep. Those Krawlers look awesome.

Mind me asking what those fenders cost?

All in all I spent about $1500 on the fenders. For what I do, they were worth every penny. I routinely put them up against rocks and trees with no damage.

Got some new goodies from the UPS truck today. Can't wait to get them installed.

It's been a while since I have updated this thread. Probably because I have been wheeling the crap out of the jeep. Had it out yesterday for a good day of riding, and it performed flawlessly yet again.

I picked up a brother for it today. An 04 Rubicon already upgraded with RCVs, Ten Factory rear shafts and 4.88's. Also has a 4.5" Rubicon Express long arm. Going to swap the axles between the two to give mine a nice upgrade.

Here's a picture of mine wheeling yesterday. I'll get a picture of the new one up as soon as I get the chance.

Got the front donor axle pulled tonight. A little work left to do on it, and it will be ready to go in my jeep.

Got the new front axle under my jeep today. The swap went fairly painless. Can't wait to get the other one in to try out the 4.88 gears.

On a side note, RuffStuff diff covers are pure beef. Two hard years of wheeling in the rocks and next to no damage. I'm going to take care of it now with a nice coat of paint. This picture is after I wire wheeled the dirt and rust off.

I know its been a while since I updated. The new 4.88 gears are perfect with these 35's. I got 15.5 MPG at 65mph on the highway on my way to wheeling last time.
The third big phase of the build will be coming up shortly. With the tax return money, the wife has approved some new goodies.

Ordering a Savvy Offroad body lift and gas tank skid, Brown Dog motor mounts with built in lift, and UCF lo pro trans mount and ultra high clearance skid.

After that, the only thing left to do will be a cage, new seats, and replace the worn out frame mounted control arm mounts. I may build a custom mid arm suspension at that point in time.

Parts ordered. Should start coming in about Friday. It's going to be like Xmas around here. Will be posting pictures of the parts and install. Body lift goes on first. Everything else will follow shortly after.

So far I am very happy. They seem like a good balance under my rig. Decent on the road, excellent when crawling off road. I can't do the go fast thing off road though, because I don't have enough up travel and it bottoms out hard if I try. But for my normal off roading, they are great.
