I am so excited I've p***ed my pants twice today already. Its really gonna slow my parts buying phase down. I had planned on buying some suspension parts or a rubicrawler (still debating on which to do, Rubicrawler or 4 speed atlas) with next paycheck, but that money was already spent with my deposit for those monsters.

Final game plan is a 100 inch wheelbase.

Well the price of these axles from Dynatrac was $16,207.00. I paid under half. Still a **** ton of money. I was planning on running 37's (mind was set), but now that I bought these I'm thinking 37-40. From what I've read with Pro Rocks have the same clearance as 44's if not a hair more.

Dude I'm freaking stoked about it. It cost me a ton of cash, a set of axles, and some wheels and tires, but I think in the long haul it is well worth it.

40's and coil overs I think would look great with a 3 link in the front and a 4 link in the back. I do think that this is going to be a long time before this is finished. I know at least a year because thats when I'm going to be back with my Jeep for good.

Rear Currie 4" coils - 190 shipped. (They've been sitting in the back of my Jeep for mock up but won't work out for me.)

Here are the seats (well one of them, other is still in the box) Was getting ready to do the cage, but with the last big purchase its going to be a little bit.

I think that wheels and tires are going to be on my list next. I plan on going with some Raceline Monster wheels, but having trouble with the backspacing option. My options are 17x 8.5 with 4.75 BS or 17x 9.5 with 4.00 BS. If I hadn't done an axle swap I would have gone with 4 BS with a doubt, but with the new Pro Rocks being 65" WMS I'm not sure if I want to be out that wide? What do you guys think?

Fo real holy moly just found this thread. You better run 40x13.50x17 mtr/kevlars. Or better yet Pitbull rockers in the 41s size. Or 44 BOGGERS!!!!!!!!!!

16k for a set of axles? Those have gears cut out of diamond or what? Maybe I'm just under the illusion of the cheap availability of parts for older vehicles. What justifies that kind of price? 14 bolt/dana 70 and dana 60 could be picked up at junkyard for a few hundred. Arb, disk brakes, cromoly shafts, & all the goodies couldn't be more than 4k per axle. Maybe I'm just ignorant, but why are those so much money?
