As well, if you're getting bored waiting for the seals you show up... you could paint the t/c case
Been working on cleaning some of it.. I'm not completely taking it apart. Haven't pulled the shaft or the shift forks or anything. You think I should? I mean, the magnet wasn't even dirty. Seems like everything is sound.

I'd give him a few asterisks, too.

Not that he deserves it, he held the t-case up while I let the skid down. Ended up falling on his head.

No free hands at the time to catch that

On the other hand, I just recieved all of my seals from quadratec. Shipping was faster than expected. I also originally made a double order on accident, but with the one call it was instantly cancelled. Gotta love their customer service! Girlfriend is over today, so I probably won't get much progress done, although I really do want to. Oh well

God, CV-Joints suck

Edit: Got that thing apart...

Heres the reason I have to rebuild everything.

And the next big problem. This thing is welded to the driveshaft but needs replacing.

Called a driveline shop and they'll repair and rebalance my driveshaft for $70. Not bad. Ordered a CV socket yoke, already have the ball assembly. Re-ordered correct seal from quadratec.

Nutserts arrived today. Pretty nice. But not worth $50. Hopefully tractor supply will have the right size bolts. Might get a ratcheting wrench too. For the removing the t-case.

Sounds familiar....My girl will be quick to ask if i need help but her form of helping is sitting in a chair to give me some company. I doubt she is even strong enough to turn a wrench.

When I was pulling the CV joint apart, she helped hammer the socket a little. Didn't have much effect, shes too petite!
