I think I'm just going to go to pick and pull and get a new 8.25 and clean it up and have it looked at before I put it in and drive it while I save up for some waggly axels and fix my lift as well

Its out of higher end xj's I think all I know is that they are a lot stronger than Dana 35s they are what you want in an xj if your running stock haha my goal at the moment is to get it back to driving condition so we can do some wheeling when you get down to Texas haha

Haha let's hope! So speaking of wheeling I went today just on some construction site of my bosses friend. (He was cool with it) so its this whole subdivision and there was this mud hole not deep (so I thought also I don't usually do mud). Well I plow through it. Well it was super deep and I had to call this local redneck who makes money (he's my age) pulling out stuck vehicles with his duramax. It sorta ruined my record of not getting stuck.. ima get a ton of **** tommorow at school. the front bumper actually was actually in the mud. my passeneger side was almost all the way covered.. so I say most people wouldve so it is what it is. Il stick to rocks and trails from now on.. lol il post the pics later. Btw the smittybilt rear did great being yanked as possible (did I mention it was REALLY) stuck. The duramax had smoke blowin and it was groaning super bad ha

8.25 is between the D44 and D35 strength wise. I think

Haha gotchya. And I know grand cherokees had that 44a but you don't want to put one of those in.. it has an aluminum center that makes it pretty weak. Look into an 8.8 their cheap and tons of aftermarket
