cant shake a stick at the price either. good upgrade. i think it adds the ultimate bad-*** look to the front of a jeep. as opposed to the stock flat front look.

Def. better then the chrome double tube bumpers that were on there. I plan on getting a q-tech winch and a plate. Hopefully this summer but new rims/tires and rockers next

Well I got the lights wired today, I took the top and doors off. Replaced the antenna with a short flex one from auto zone to stop it from hitting and knocking -_- I went to just get rubber grommets for the holes in the cowl for the lights but they were right next to each other and I couldn't resist after hearing it. I also wired in a 4 pin trailer hook up. May not sound like a lot but I took my sweet time today and just enjoyed the wonderful weather

Hey, nice job on the Tj, my build is pretty similar. Could you please post a pic or two showing where/how you routed the wires on your windshield mounted lights? I have mounted mine, but did not hook 'em up yet for cosmetic reasons. You should be very happy with that rear bumper, I have tested mine pulling various sorts of red neck stuff out of the ground.

You are going in the right direction on this build . I have owned seven Jeeps, dumped thousands of dollars into big lifts and tall tires, which you never get out of it when you are ready to sell. It pays to place your dollar where it counts, my current TJ has a modest 2" lift, recovery bumpers, winch, and a rear locker. I am regearing it soon and have another lock-right ready to install in the Dana 30 front. I was at an off road park this weekend and made all the big lifted pick-ups and mall cruisers look stupid with my Goodyear GS-A's and that locker (rain made quite a mess out there).

Thanks man! I guess when money is tight and if i dont do a good job my parents threaten to sell it i plan everything out. Il take pics tomorrow after school and post them! i wont post pics of inside the cowl due to its a pita! But under there drivers side is just tucked in, pass side i cut out some foam to lay the wire in. Glad to hear you like the bumper btw! Jeeps deffinately have the advantage offroad, great departure, breakover and approach angle. Plus all jokes aside the stock axles are strong. The 35 gets a tone of crap but MO2500 ran 35s on his for the longest and true it wasnt his d.d it didnt break. Do you have a build thread?

I've got the front smitty bumper and I like it. For the money, its pretty solid. I plan on selling it and going with a stubby look for better clearance and less weight. Nice progress BTW, where do you work?

Also today I did some light "wheeling" its just this spot near a dam that has a trail and about a 65 degree climb with some rock ledges. then a mud climb at about 75 or 80 degrees. A kid bet me I couldn't keep up with his xj with 4.5 inch lift and 33s. Me in my 2.5/31 (street tires at that) did stuff his couldn't. Dillon im not hatin on the xjs btw xD.

Il mess with just about every part of my jeep (or any vehicle) I stay away from that r.p xD but if your going to have them replace it just save up get new meats and re gear accordingly
