You guna the bearings yourself? If you are I know a great tip how to put em in. So excuse my lack of info but do they make xj sliders? I've seen them but they've all been custom.

Haha I've seen a piece of 2x4 steel welded to the frame on some xjs. Then just built like a tube step to come off of it and sorta stick out to protect it. With the barings you can take like a long piece of tubing set the bearing in place and put the tubing through the housing (where the shaft goes and pound it in place.

Yeah I think I may do that and have my dad weld them up for me. And ill have to try that. If its not to hard I might do the front while I have it on the lift at work.

Just went and picked up the bumpers! I got their and started talkin to the shop owner (who has a wicked sweet renegade and a jk with 40s) and he let me pay the difference (40$) and upgrade to kc slim lites! Should look great with the windshield bracket and jeep in general. I also got some black powder coated 3/4 ton d rings for the front and a cheap-o harbor freight 150ft/lbs torque wrench. No more borrowing from my neighbor! I was also outside last night till 1 taking the sway bar off, pressing the bushing in and then reinstalling it. Drives great now!
As of now list of stuff to install:
Smittybilt Bumpers
D-rings
Kc slim lites
Kc windshield bracket
Brown Dog 1" mml
Zone 1.25 bl

Nice to see another Chili Pepper TJ. Hope you fix those fender flares, they sure are funky looking.

Well bumpers are on and mounted! I used all 10 mounting locations so I could tow with it and know its sturdy. I might weld the front bumper and spray on bed liner over the welds. Should be close enough not to bug the everloving crap outa me xD. The lights are mounted on the bracket, I used a punch to hold the backing plate while in screw in one tight enough hold it in place. I used black hex screws that flush mount. Looks pretty good imo. I still need to wire it all up but with mowing the yard and other stuff around the house I barely had time to mount the bumpers. Il post more pics tomorrow but here's the front

So far so good. There's only 4 bolts but me, my dad my grandpa and sister all sat on it and didn't budge. That's a total of atleast 600 so I mean im happy with that. I also really like the look of it.
