If i go to college itl be post military. I plan on being a mechanic after and i might go to a com college instead of trade school. Im already reading the millikin race car vehicles dynamics to get a better understanding of suspension before i link it myself. When funds are as tight are as they are for a teen without a full time job stretching every dollar counts. XD
The only chrome left is the steps wheels and mirrors . Some of the stuff i painted is chipping, stupid rust oleum and wal mart wont sell me paint -_-. So thats on my list or just get it powder coated or something. The steps are for sale and after i get new mirrors the chrome ones gone! Then hopefully new rims and tires over summer depending on how much work i get in TX.
On a side note anyone have any tips for installing bushings on the sway bar links..? Mine is good so im going to re use it till i go with RC quick discos.

Thats what im thinking. My dad is going to be a manager at the company who makes plating racks for electro plating. They might have a powder coating booth. If not he says if i learn auto-cad hel hire me part time and then a part time welder when they overflow i just need to brush up on my mig and learn tig.

you could also do instead of the flat fenders some tube fenders. I have them on mine with 33s and it looks like i got a ton more lift. I really like the look of them.

I've tossed the idea around but I donth think they'd be right for me. Eventually (like I said post mil) im going to buy a early tj and do it on 42s, duramax or 4bt and coilovers (mayber oris :shh so I wana keep mine closer to stock. Its my dd for a while and I don't want to have tubes and then have to sell it and get less for it. Plus I wouldn't cut the hood and just get a new one.

So i spoke to soon on the tube fenders.. i just found out that tnt/mc dont require hood cutting and i could live with that. Once the jeep is actually signed over to me (im a minor and my parents hold it above my head) i think im going to do that! Probably mc but idk yet. Right now its all speculation.

Good and bad news! Got my KC brackets. Bad news the stupid little plates with the threads is slipping in the windshield frame. I managed to dig it out and put the screws back in but without the bracket.

Well the summer is brutal and the winter can be as well but I love it. And the school here is pretty good. Keller is actually really nice and has just about everything you would need within 20 minutes. And there is a off road park about 40 minutes away. What all have you heard about Texas?
