It will be interesting to see if the girlfriend approves of the new height. Put the 33s up on craigslist.. 35s coming soon!

Girlfriend ordered a Savvy tailgate skin for a little added protection and the flat back look. Ill instal that and add the decals and then on to more armor. Rear corners, and rock sliders on the list.

I've always liked your LED'd up jeep

What'd you use to link the rear an 8.8 setup for a tj? Hows the rear tracbar to tank clearance and why not just triangulate the uppers to ditch it all together?

The whole setup was previously made for another yj and thus I reused it all as it was made originally. Track bar bolts to the factory frame side and a custom bracket on the axle.

Through this swap I've learned a lot about links and what works best, I'm sure a triangulated upper setup will be in order with some time. I'm not worried about it just yet as I'm fine with the track bar set up. Everything clears currently, I'll put it on the fork lift soon and check all of my clearances.

Driveshaft has been ordered.. I'm dying to drive this thing but front wheel drive only with the Lokka doesn't make for a fun ride.

Everytime I put it in gear, the locker kicks the whole jeep to the right leaving me fighting to stay in the street, through all 5 speeds.

It's crazy that its that bad for you, I drove 30 mins to work in 4 high when we got snow last year and didt have any issues with it.....that's with a spartan up front and a rear spool! I remember driving in fwd and I only re beer what feels like torque steer and was somthing I could deal with!

I think there is a little adjusting that needs to be done as the new lift is in. It was quite a drive for sure. With all of the mods going on simultaneously it is possible that I installed the locker incorrectly as well, however I definitely have both tires spinning up front. I think it has something to a with the TJ longside shaft and locker combo, either way I'll most likely have to align the steering and buy a stabilizer to add up there.

Add the fact that the brakes weren't completely bled to the mix and the first drive was fairly hellacious/clench inducing.

Tomorrow I'm going to bleed them again and give it another shot. I won't know how it really drives until I can put the rear drive shaft in. It's being built locally by Oliver's Drivelines. I've heard great things from them by many local Jeepers, I even got a special NC4x4 price so it's worth the 50 minute drive (in the Mazda) to pick it up.
