Underside shot.. CB hasn't been mounted yet. But I mounted the switch panel in the same box I originally built for it. I may or may not go back and build a new box that will fit the space better. I'll have to see how much room is left after I get the CB in.

I am getting some metal on metal rattles from it so I will be removing it and putting a small strip of black weather stripping/ padding in there before bolting it back up.

Been collecting parts in my house. Need a series install day soon! Looking at lockers now for the d30. Also went 8.8 shopping but the local shops want too much for them.

You don't want to keep saving for a beefier axel set up? Just my opinion though. Cost of strengthening the d30 vs swapping in a 44/8.8 set up down the road. I'm currently grappling with this same issue haha.

AZ mine started today oh well. Work through it.

And 2 jeeps, the D30 is plenty strong for me right now. If, and when I get to the point that it needs to be upgraded, I won't even bother with a 44, it will be a D60 up front and 60/70 in rear powered by a V8.

That's years down the line. Until then a D30/8.8 set up will be plenty.

I will not answer this question as there is no wood nearby to knock on.
