They were used, but probably 40-50% tread left. Plenty to run on the trails for a little while. And if you feel comfortable with you painting abilities, you could spray paint the hard top too. Thats what I did with mine! It was ?purple? Don't ask me why Haha. But painting is easy. Especially black. It's harder to see imperfections.

I would definitely go for a soft top as well. They are just so much easier to me. Especially on a tj.

Yeah This may sound stupid but could I get a replacement top or do I need to buy a regular soft top if I don't have the hardware for it idk what one I should get and I know what you mean it just seems easier to take a soft top off
Also do you know where I could get some cargo net half doors?

The best way to get a soft top and frame is gonna be craigslist. I check my local Craigslist every day for thinga that come up. That is where you will find your best deal. You can not run a replacement top alone. It had to have the frame for It to work. And do you mean Actual cargo net doors, or the cargo net, and half doors? If the later, Craigslist for doors, and even the classified on here, and the cargo net is from quadratec. Made by smittybilt. If you mean actual doors made of net, I've never seen them, but that would make for an awesome addition to the build. I'll see what I can come up with.

Enjoyed reading through your build thread. Those new tinted soft top windows really set it off. Looking good.
