Take Off Your Top!!!

SO, new here. just picked up a 96 cherokee of a buddy of mine, in rough shape but plan to put some time into it. Ill try my best to get some pictures up from start to finish, ive already done a bit to it, but i throw up some, first day pictures first. it had like 3 inches front and back, cut fenders and some bald bfg all terrains. i made the half door for it before i bought the jeep off him, BEFORE AND AFTER

ok that half door is the probably the coolest thing ive ever seen on an xj it looks pro. guessing by the title are you going to make a removable top for it? cant wait to see how it turns out if you do

ya the door took some time, came out great tho, only to find out that the sub that took them off oringaly cut them off, so i cant even use the door! so im gonna have to find some doors with good hinges on them. good practice door haha

so were starting to pick at it. took the sawz all to it, floors out. rusty bumpers off. and this is where were at. you can see how the hinges on the door are shot, its just sitting oh so delicalty up there haha

yup no luck iwth the door. haha but ill figure it out, i need a parts jeep for odd ball stuff, windshield control arms doors maybe a back bumper for now, who knows

SO! up next we tackled my front bumper situation, i made a pretty simple one for my grand i had back when, so we took that off and beefed it up added lights end caps the stinger and paint. and a winch plate. one night 2 guys up till 3 am. ( we work third shift, we love the night life) haha

so we took the roof rack off my grand and cut the middle out and shortened it up to fit the new shorter roof line. also got the front half of the floors done and painted with hammer gaurd all sealed and diaomond floor mats. there were, NOOOO floors left, but were getting there with them.
