Dang! That carnage was from Hollister? We had 30+ jeeps show up for our Saturday run. My first time there, and I must say it's a fun park with lots of trails for every skill level. I thought we had a lot of poison oak where I live! Dang!

Yeah, this was on the Creek Trail (also called the B*TCH trail). Only 4 rigs with our group ran it... really deep V-Notches and roots on both sides...even taking a perfect line mean a bit a rubbing up high.

Yeah, we saw a few of those kind of trails. There was one by Truck Hill that looked pretty challenging. Some of our group camped Saturday night and ran some stuff on Sunday too. One guy decided to try one of the mud pits. The outcome wasn't so good! LOL!

Yah, we stopped over and said "Hi" a few minutes after he went in and was still scooping mud out of his interior...nasty!

Sad thing is he lives up by me, so that's a 4.5hr drive home riding in slop, lol! We also managed to fit 20 jeeps at the top of the hill, lol!

Great Off road, never any issues, tough as hell on rocks and good in mud.

I air down to 8-10psi on my stock Gambler (non-Beadlock) rims and I've lost 1 bead, in a crazy spot in Johnson Valley and I think that tire was down to 4-5PSI.

I don't think this set is wearing very well... I don't drive many miles and I doubt that I have 5-7K on these since I installed them and they look 1/2 or more worn. I don't have any pics of tread depth (you can see in pics above a little bit), but just to my naked eye the tread seems to be going too fast.

I'd buy them again when/if these ever wear out and need to be replaced.

I have never aired that low but mine wear great on a dd. 22k so far on a set of 5 rotated every oil change with less than or right at 50% wear. But it might have helped that I ran the first 15k backwards because my installer can't read and I didn't notice. I usually go down to 12-15 psi but might try lower now.

Seals? If so, I just did mine for the first time. Very easy if you have the right set of tools, not if you don't.

Yes, I need to do inner seals while I have it open probably, but my ARB was acting up, potentially installed incorrectly and possibly requiring service of some kind.

I pulled my front D30 ARB due to some issues with the ARB Locking and unlocking (both with and without air). When I bent my LPD30 a few years ago I replaced it with a HPD30 Housing and had a member of my local Jeep Club do the gears and locker re-install... There were a number of erroneous things that appear to have happened during the install. I won't get into the specifics of the bad stuff, and I don't know if these things directly caused the issues with the ARB but I'm sure didn't help.

I'm calling ARB tomorrow to see what they suggest or if I can send the locker in for them to check it out/repair.

Anyhow, I'm going to need to find a good shop to do the re-install everything once I get the locker situation resolved. Long story short is that I'll be looking for a reputable gear/ARB Installer.

Any suggestions? I'm south of San Jose in Scotts Valley, but willing to drive the Jeep up to the Bay Area for a good shop!

Wade
