You Suck... I saw the pics...looks REALLY nice!

I called a couple places early this week and got the same story... then I spent most of my tire $$$ on parts to fix my front end, which without it working, tire size not very important!

So I'm probably on hold mode on tires....maybe I'll get em for myself for my B-Day in June...

Are you speaking of the old MT/Rs or the kevlar ones?

No, he got some new MTR/Kevlars and was pointing out that I haven't been able to find any and I've been quite sniveling and whiny about it...

Tire rack has them for $204 plus shipping.

Also, Discounttiredirect.com has them for $226 ($204 if you send them the tire rack link) with free shipping.

By the way, those prices are for 35" tires...

Best of luck.

"Having them" online doesn't mean they have them to ship... I've talked to both those places on the phone in the past week and neither would sell me a set since they both were listed as "back-ordered" still.

Well damn that, last I checked (2-3 days ago) Tire rack had the 35s listed as in stock and ready to ship out on the 18th.

Oh well...Did you try

summitracing
4wheelparts
4wdhardware
sears
walmart
jcwhitney
quadratec
amazon.com
4x4groupbuy
1010tires.com
treaddepot
alljeep

I bet you'll have better luck than me.

I need to find two of the old 35x12.50x15 MT/Rs... Not sure it'll happen.

Have you gotten your unit bearings yet? I'm looking for a decent vendor.

The Ranchos look nice! Mine aren't doing any good sitting on the garage floor

Not yet... I actually ordered from Amazon.com... A couple bucks more, but free 2 day shipping (with the Prime) and no tax... I think that were just over $80 out the door.

I got em with a combo of Dish Soap, my U-Joint press (to get the bar pin 1/2 way through) and then the bench vice for the rest... only took a few minutes. I am going to get some new bolts and nuts before I reinstall.

and here is my 'parts' table... at least most of the take off stuff except the steering and trackbar, etc that's under the table

Uh... no... actually it hadn't crossed my mind, but much like the Air Actuator for the ORO Swayloc, it seems to try to take something that is already really really easy and just attach a "gadget" to it, and adding just one more thing that could possibly go wrong or fail.

Its a couple hundred dollars that I could use elsewhere right now honestly.

I expect that I'll spend some time figuring out which setting I prefer for the street and which I prefer off-road and just get my fat lazy butt out of the driver seat and switch between them Just one more thing to do when I'm airing downing the tires and flipping my SwayLoc lever.

Wade

OK...next step... I ordered the Currie CE-9102K FRONT END HOUSING JOHNNY JOINTŪ KIT from Gerald @ Savvy and have a question about the driver side UCA bushing on the diff...

I popped out the old rubber bushing with a properly sized socket and my Ball Joint press (it's been getting a lot of work here recently, but no Ball joints). Does the "sleeve" that the red arrow is pointing too in the below pic stay on the axle, or do I need to figure out how to get it out too?
