I have parts on the way (should be early next week) to put my front end back together. Will need to get some help from local club member for some welding on the axle (new swaybar link mounts and the Pass. Side Currie JJ), then I'll be able to get my front end put back together. New Currie 9120TJJ Track back came this week, so hopefully soon I'll be ready to rock and roll.

I have Savvy Rockers and Taillights that should be here next week too, so once I get the Axle install and the Rig back on the road, they will be next.

I have plans to take a trip down to SoCal next month for a 3 day weekend to get some expert help doing my Outboarding in the back (already ordered shocks and the Ford Shock Towers and had them sent down south for "pre-fitting"). Hopefully will also continue getting more Savvy if the parts are ready.

Yanked my 5 year old Pioneer Premiere Deck and Sony Amp and Sirius Tuner and replaced with an inexpensive Kenwood KDC-MP345U Deck with USB/iPod Support.

Enjoy the new metal. Should be a fun trip. You still should convince Blaine to make the wife happy by strapping one of those benches to your Jeep for the ride home.

He told me last night what they cost... I don't make that kind of coin!

Oh.. I saw that. You are supposed to trade services (unless the website is to help your habits, and not please the wife mod).

Very little about the Jeep pleases the wife, and my "services" aren't good enough to trade for that kind of price tag.

Eh... it was worth a shot. A friend of mine got $500 to build a website for the local Fire Department, and he gets paid to keep it updated. For some reason that number sounds a little high to me for such a small site, but his step dad is the Chief.

WOOHOO!!!! I HAVE "REAL" PROGRESS TO REPORT...

Got some new Swaybar link mounts and my Steering Knuckle (Tapered for Currie driver tie-rod flip) in the mail today...hauled the Axle to a friends house and he did the welding for me! Got the new Swaybar link mounts and the Currie Pass Side Johnny Joint mount thing all welded up. Need to do some cleanup and paint and should be ready for reinstall this weekend..

Welds don't look that bad. When are you going to learn to weld like that?

Wow, excellent build and write-up. Aparently I'm going to be going from the import world to the Jeep world. Nice job!

Interesting solution for the sway bar mounts. I like it.

Were did you happen to pick those up?

Your right, you have more money than brains

JK Wade. How are you going to coat that stuff. Bare metal, black, body match, polished?

Bare like all my Savvy stuff, until I'm convinced that I'll have problems otherwise...

I go to to the snow 1 weekend a year, when I drive to it, barely any rain, no salt or anything, and I usually try to wash the mud off the rig at one of those spray places on the way home of every trip...

NorCal is pretty much perfect weather to not worry about wrecking aluminum armor!
