Do u remember if those wheels had the safety bead? I know most 16.5"s don't but I have seen some that do.

No I don't think they did. Inner air locks are in the plans once funds allow, unless I go with beadlocks and swampers.

As of right now that's correct. I may or may not add one later on, but right now it's not on the short list.

Well I was able to get mine all set up and have driven it plenty since the completion.

I am running soa on stock springs with a MORE high steer bracket and 1 1/2"x.250 DOM tie rod and drag link with 5/8" hiems

NO steering stabilizer

Aligned by myself in my driveway and drives straight as an arrow with no shimmy or wander. No bumpsteer

No problem, that setup looks good.

Didn't do much this weekend, pulled apart the leafs and added a cut down main leaf from the extra yj packs I bought.

Sleeved it with 1.5 x .120 DOM

Welded it back up

What advice can you give my on cutting down a drive shaft ? I have a explorer shaft for my TJ and I would like to cut it myself. I am confident in my welding skills, I am not confident in how to align it perfectly center.

How did you accomplish the task of keeping it straight?

Sorry to clog you build thread.
