Have the u-joints, JB conversions super short SYE. Just got an e-mail from Ballistic fab and my steering parts should be here Weds. Wheels will be here Weds and tires will hopefully be in on Friday. Also just ordered a locker for the front. Can't wait for all this stuff to come!

Smittybilt tube fenders. Not impressed with the quality, I'm going to strip them, finish weld everything they should have, and coat them since they came scratched up, and the powdercoat isn't very great anyway.

Are you still happy you saved money on the smittys or do you wish you would've done otherwise?

I got the Smittybilts at cost thru my work, and even then I still think I should've just built my own. I figured they were cheap enough I'd save myself the trouble of building them, but I should've known if you want it done right, you either pay or do it yourself.

Little details bother me. The fact that they didn't cap the tubes makes them seem unfinished to me. The welds aren't very good at all. One of the gussets is bent, there is some rust near the stitch welds already. They even came scratched up for me, haha.

Wow. Yeah those look pretty shotty! I wonder how some PSC ones would compare side by side.

Hopefully much better for the price, I can't believe how much these companies get for tube fenders

You ever look into the MCE - Modern Classic Enterprise flat fenders? I just started looking into those and they seem decent and fair priced at only $184 with free shipping in the US.
