This is a great build, and I must say that I'm absolutely in awe by your welding skills

Sorry to clog you build thread.
I used a piece of 1.5 x .120 DOM tubing which fits pretty well inside the stock Jeep driveshaft so that got me pretty well aligned to start. I cut it on a cold saw at 0 degrees for both cuts so when it was butted up to each other it came out very straight. I used a straight edge to check it and it came out great. Keep in mind it's a front driveshaft so it's not a big deal. The rear I will take my time with and then have it balanced.

Thanks! I weld everyday and it all has to look good consistently so I have plenty of practice.

Looks good Man! I'll have to steal that idea with the drive shaft and DOM tubing! What all do you have left to do before you can take her on her maiden voyage???

Updates bro? I've found another stock pitman arm to drill out for my heim joint. I'm also picking my up some wheels next week. Everyone tells me there a real PITA to mount because of the side wall being so stiff.

Great Looking YJ,,,mine will be like your soon except i'm going with 8.8 in the rear.

I also have a 2000 Z28 M6 with your employer's tubular turbo K-Member.

Can't wait to see it finished.

Well after taking a long break from working on the Jeep, I think it's time to get back to work on it. I think I'm going to stretch the rear, not sure if I want to link it or run XJ springs yet.
