Installed the locker and new axle seals in the front axle today. Started to pull it apart and found some water, and that the wheel bearing on the passenger side was in poor shape, so it's being replaced.

Carrier removed

Spartan locker installed. Very easy install, so far nothing bad to say about this locker at all. We'll see how it performs.

That's it so far, slowly making progress.

Me either! Just ordered 3 lbs of wrinkle black powdercoat for the wheels, and anything else later on.

Stripped one of the wheels today to see how long it would take, stripping the other 3 and sandblasting them all next week.

If you run 1310 u joints in your driveshafts, you can get a 1310-1330 conversion u joint from Advance Auto... part number 10134BF. Also I got u joint u bolts at advance too... the D44 takes a slightly larger u bolt than the 60! For the 60, it is part number 10089 and you get them as a pair. The u bolt for the D44 you have to buy each and they are part number 81004. Let me know if you need any part numbers for the calipers/rotors I used on the discs for the D60.

I already have Spicer conversion u-joints, and I also already have the u-bolts too. Also have the discs set up on the rear too, running K20 calipers. I'm going to do a line-lock style e-brake. I have almost everything I need, I was just waiting to get it together to make some front shock towers and measure for my shocks and brake lines. What MC are you using?
