Nice rig man, good luck with it. I love ours, but I got a rusty oil pan to tango with.....

Hey, I saw the posts on which rear?, get your build sheet from chrysler, I think I got both of mine within 3 days. If you're not sure: the 35 is oval shaped, the 44a is like an apple laying on its side with the top pointing right (viewed from rear) and is aluminum - magnet check works too.

"Dubyuh" or "Blue Bayou": Patriot Blue 2001 Up-Country WJ Limited 4.7L V8 Quadra Drive: for now known as "Al-Dente" after my wife's "mod".

New Addition 12/2011: "Pearl" Forest Green Pearlcoat 1999 xj SE 4.0L/AW4/231/8.25 mostly stock for now.

how many spines does the output shaft on a np247 have.

and whats the splines on the out put of the D30?

well this is what I have figured out.

drive shaft from an 02 WJ with a 4.7 and 242HD case
D30 output shaft is 26 spline with a 1-1/2" OD and 1-3/8" ID
Transfer case output shaft is 32 spline and I havent gotten the measurements for the OD and IN because
I will end up getting an adapter plate that will bolt on to the CV companion flange and connect to the spicer u joint.

will know more tomorrow and I will also get part numbers for anyones future reference.

sorry for no updates guys. I have a few pictures I can through up but aint much.

driveshaft is at the drive shop getting ready to get put in. soo jeep sitting in my garage and I am driving around the JK.

im gonna move down to a 15" rim because tires are wayyy cheaper then the stock 16" rim. 140 for some wranlger mtr's in 31's or 220 for the same tire in 265/75/R16 WTF haha

but im gonna get soft 8's from summit shipped to my door they are 203 bucks.

dont get soft 8's.... you will just blend in with everyone else....

My thoughts exactly, and people *cough*willmcd*cough* shun me for my economical approach to the biggest decision in a wheeler's life. I dont like soft 8s a whole lot, but $42, and cheaper tires and durability, you cant beat it.

Plus there isnt a whole lot of 15x8 with 5x5 bolt patterns other than soft 8s. Sorry for that rant. haha

overall i am really happy with it, took it on a bumpy rough little trail and it was pretty smooth. I need to address an issue though cause now my TC isnt shifting into neutral or 4LO and there is alot of body roll. wider tires and addico or whatever sway bar should help.

ps..

SO DAMN GLAD I HAVE MY V8 BACK!

Why is it that every time I see a 4" lift on a GC I think that is how Jeep should have rolled them off the factory line? Now it needs some man tires.
