went wheeling a couple weekends ago and did some mall crawling.. Had fun, big group!

Im ready for jeep beach though!!!! Repainted my fenders, gonna paint my valve cover yellow, IDK what else might buy a welder and do some exhaust before I leave for jeep beach..

Only new mods is a 2" reciever and a d-ring reciever, and of course I had to color match it with my theme...

Heres a few pics to appease jf.

still connected

I'm already here. At the Koa speedway campground. Might switch to koa beach campground because some of my friends are there. When are you going?

Alright well I havent updated in a while so here it goes..

Jeep beach was an awesome time, Im definitely going to do my best to be there every year...

Jeep mods have been pretty lacking other than a few but im right on edge of a big purchase..
Im staring at checkout cart on metalcloak.com of overline fenders with 6" flares as well as the rear setup with 6" flare.. I just dont know if I should wait on them and do gears/locker first.. winch is also going to come along soon along with swag offroad flip down tailgate and a custom tub mounted tire carrier..

But here is one of the mods I did do, the PSC hood louver.. I love it, looks great, reduced my running temp, especially when crawling during the day, and i just think it looks mean as hell, couldnt beat it for the price..

beer gut picture

And some jeep beach pics

Drove her up to baltimore a month ago! Was an awesome trip and did well towing a pop up camper all the way back. I did a rausch creek run with my two cousins which was awesome too!! Got a few pics..

Got on a few blue trails but it is an awesome park. I hope to get back sometime!! Would have rode alot longer and on more trails but the green yj had a tire blowout that ended our trip early and the xj did not have the clearance we needed.

I did have to put a new transmission in my jeep this summer. Was a big bummer but at least it didnt happen on the trip to baltimore.. Theres really no explanation for it I dont think especially with the nv3550. One day hopped in it and it was making a loud clicking noise. Pulled the drain plug and two gear teeth from the main shaft fell out. Got a good deal on a reman transmission. It drives alot smoother now, my only guess is maybe the previous owner grinded gears alot or something but whatever.

I also just rolled over 140,000!!! Wow do I drive alot of miles!

Did demon eyes and got the black grill inserts. Pics to come later.

Got a new Bestop soft top with tinted windows, happy with it and now i have a back window!! I also did all my brakes, stopping power is much better. She sounds good with my flowmaster 40 too.. Got alot done to it this summer but could have done much more had I not done the tranny.. I want the metalcloaks but I think new savvy control arms and steering upgrade is going to come first. Then after that will come locker, possible regear... Then will come my metalcloaks.

Oh also!! I dont have a good picture but I decided since I wont be getting new fenders for a while to get my stock flares painted. A buddy of mine that owns a body shop painted all of them for 100$ gloss black and laid quite a few coats of clear.. Has held up very well to scratches and no more chipping!! Looks great, maybe you can tell in the rausch creek pics

Okay well not too many updates, Just typical maintenance stuff lately.. going to be ordering a set of control arms from savvy very soon!!

Just got back from jeeptoberfest, what an awesome event, thanks ocala jeep club!! I gotta say I liked jeepbeach for the "chill factor" every day just because being on daytona beach with the jeep was awesome, but the courses at jeeptoberfest were truly fun! I managed to get through the moderate course (supposed to have locker up front) without getting stuck! needed a little spotting in an area or two but otherwise did well!! Actually am going to be on "truck u" in two weeks because they were impressed with how well i did with open diffs. I pretty much count my d44 as open, i dont think that factory lsd has much left of it after 145k haha.

few pics..

Hardrock!

Jeep show

courses

amanda the spiderwebshade girl!!

And I was pretty proud of my RTI ramp score of 1032!! I thought it was pretty impressive being on stock control arms.. I saw guys with longarms but everything set up wrong only scoring in the 800's... the red jeep in my pictures got an 1132 and the silver jeep with the rack got a 1505!!

Oh and as you can see my stock skid has taken a beating.. I debated on doing an sye/driveshaft/ TT instead of control arms but my stock bushings are shot and the jeep is starting to feel very sloppy so for safety i think i need to do the control arms first.. TT will be done soon though hopefully by early spring.. We are planning a moab trip in June!! I hope to have gears and lockers by then if funds provide but if not ill throw a cheap lunchbox up front for the time being.

Well I have had an interesting and fun filled couple of weeks!! Fuel pump assembly ended up going bad that i just put in a month prior.. Got it covered by warranty but ended up being a day of headaches running around finding parts.. Also decided to put in a new Map sensor, TPS, as well as new champion spark plugs and changed all my fluids..

Got some new tires, 33" MTR's with kevlar So far I like them, I loved my kumhos but decided to give these a shot.. They certainly ride nice on the road!!

Also got a rugged ridge recovery kit as well as their 10500 lb winch with synthetic line. So far I like it!!

Fan clutch went out Monday so I did the ford explorer fan mod on it, no noticeable difference now but Im sure it will be much better in the summer!!

Picking up an aussie locker for my dana 30 tomorrow. Got a good deal on it from a local club member

So quite a few things going on with the jeep the last couple weeks!! Tires and winch put the savvy control arms on hold for a little but they should be on in the next couple of months.. I defeinitely want them for moab!! If work goes well and jeep doesnt have any serious issues maybe I will have my metalcloaks too.

few pictures..
