I sleeved my front on the outside of the axle before I added the TNT truss. Make sure you trim a nice chunk off the bottom of the truss about 3/8 to 12 inch. This will make it nice and close to the axle tube and diff. Also bevel the inside edge of the truss to fit the contour of the axle tubes. I did not do any of these, I wish I had now. This saturday I am notching the truss to clear the oil pan at full bump for more uptravel. Right now I have 3 inches between my oil pan and top of truss. After the notching I will have a total of 5 1/2 inches of clearance. I actually thought since I dented my oil pan on my shakedown run. I may notch the new oil pan to clear the truss also. If this will be okay with oil flow.

I will be watching this build.
wow man great info.. non of that crossed my mind! Thanks A LOT!!

I guess once I get the truss for the front, I'll chop it down as mush as possible.

who's sleeve are you using on the outside? after grinding the tubes they are not perfect! did you just make it up or bought it?

Thanks a lot!

I had a local shop cut a tube in the middle like a long clam shell 3/16 or sch40.

I will look in my build thread. Its there somewhere.
