my front bumper will end up similar to this one

but the bottom loop will go down and replace/attach to the factory radiator support for absolute protection in the front

boat side rockers and tube fenders are also in the works

What I'm working on now is a rear "not really a bumper" bumper like this one to give a mean departure angle

i have a beefy old ford hitch that i need to modify to slide into the frame rail so i can sandwhich it
this will be about 6" higher than the factory hitch that i broke in half last wheeling trip

the old bumper cover almost fell off and the factory bumper was rusted to crap but the rest of the body is spotless

Hey I've got my old 249 thats just sitting in my garage. I swapped the input shaft/planetary set into my 231, but afaik the rest is still good (except vc, reason why I swapped it out). Let me know if you need anything out of it.

We got the steel for my boatsides and rear bumper yesterday. This thing is gonna be pure beef 4x4 5/16 wall box...... Went to pnp this morning and grabbed a zj fuel skid and some big ujoint front shafts. Started working on the rear bumper this afternoon. We cut some 90* plates to slide into the uniframe and were sandwgiching it with nut strips on the bottom and outside of both sides for the bumper. Teaser pic after we took the 4x4 off the table cutting the receiver in

Have u had any problems with your lift? A buddy of mine is looking at the RCA 3.5 lift like yours where you put the new in front and the old front in the rear.
