I just noticed that without an engine compartment it looks kind of like a stagecoach.

Ok so not a whole lot of progress this week....did get seats in and body armor welded on...going to edge it with 3/8 round to give it a finished out look as well as get rid of the sharp edge in wheel well...oh and ordered the stupid high dollar radiator i needed since the space i have to work with is oddsized...plus been under the weather just a bit..hopin to feel better tomorrow so i can get some work done...

Ok first off let me say thanks for all the recent comments...and today i do feel better...and i have thought the same thing(about the stage coach) thought about getting a couple of those lanterns like you used the see on the old skool biker vw trikes..but then i figured theyed just get knocked off..i kinda run into stuff at night when backing up....usualy its a tree.....lol...

So i was like thinkin bout calling her "The Angry Goat"......any one got any thoughts on that...

Oh and for all of you wishing you had cool tools...well quit using your income tax check for stupid stuff like food clothing and bills...who cares if your lights are on if you dont have a welder to work on your truck with...lol......sorry watched pres. debate last night...but really income tax chechs are great tool buying excuses...tell the wife to go shoping with hers and get online with yours....also spit out about thtee kids...earnrd income credit is awesome...i am kidding mostly but to some extent i tell the truth..lol....
Well guess i need to shut up and get to working on it...

ok so heres a quick pic update...lol...i decided to take a small break from fabbing and slap some paint on the hood....lol

after a quick sand

after fist coat of both colors...i like to overlap the colors before i mask off for edges...

after masking and final paint...

on to core support...lol

first heres the core...woo hoo

and here the finished support

some pics with panels bolted on for test fitting before final welding of support

finished support with core

core support bolted temporarily for giggls

back up lights...lol

here is a pic of the finished body armor with the 3/8 round added and seats in...lol

the seats are from a 94 accord.....the core is a Be Cool from summit.....the core support is made with 1" 10 gauge square tube and 1/8"x1" flat drilled for tabs
i had originally thought aboout removing the dents from thee hood till i realized there were matching ones in the roof...after thinking about it im sure sooner or later the hood will contact the roof again prolly while im slipping around trying to gt it up while stuck...lol...well i will try and figure out what happened to the other pics concerning the 3/8 round and body armor
