Hurry up and wait!
Soon I hope. My $$$ got delayed about 2 months now so that's the only hang up. I'm HOPING to get rolling in the next two weeks. Then things will go REALLY fast haha. All I'm waiting on is the funds to become available. I have a totally different direction going now, so I may end up re-rolling my build thread to keep it clean. We'll see lol.

Thanks for the interest guys!

Cheers

Nope, my financials have been tied up with greedy, bureaucrats. I was supposed to get my funds about 3.5 months ago and it's still being worked on. And not only my build is suffering because of it.

That said, I think I may end up buying a YJ with a v8 already plopped in before Moab so I have something to wheel. I will most likely build this one up for my lady then (She wants her own YJ in a bad way now, and being able to go out and wheel together any day, any time is pretty much a dream come true.)

We'll see what the next week brings.

In any case, you'll start seeing some good old fashioned Sparrow's YJ building going on reeeeeeally soon!

Cheers

Being the owner of a 2014 JK 2 Door I understand the annoyance... I had a 2.5 YJ for 7 years that I bought new in college and until recently had a Durango DD. I took a new job and since we get a vehicle allowance i had to adhere to the companies vehicle requirements but there was nothing about 2 doors so i took advantage and bought a new JK. Anywho when i was at the dealership they had a dealer built JKU with a lift, 35" tires all kinds of other stuff in it that was listed for $42k.... it was pretty nice looking.. So I am waiting for delivery and this older man and his early 40ish wife bought the JKU for her birthday... I live in Dallas and there are a lot of soccer moms and guys who just want a tough looking car driving all of these monsters around... I have plans for my JK but I also plan on doing as much of the work a possible. So while a lot of the JK owners out there are lame, not all of us are...
BTW subbed, I may have to sell my old Durango and grab another YJ. I like the idea of a sleeper rig.
