hey sparrows! I love the idea of the 2.5 stroker! it's kind of like what that tdi-yj guy did only with a jeep motor, I like it! Good luck!

Execute the armor correctly and aluminum will hold up great.

You need the right grade, right thickness, and right support. Take a look at how Savvy Offroad does things and do it similarly. I use aluminum everywhere--corners, sliders, tailgate, transfer case skid. Hell, even my control arms are aluminum but you don't have to worry about those.
