OK, here is what I'm currently at…





I will be going to flush mount circular lights eventually because the bolts don't exactly fit, but this will work for now.


... I guess I'm gonna have to fix that too…….

Wonder if you could fit one of these back there to finish it off:

Then maybe add a little stinger on top like the Poison Spyder carrier. Just a thought.

Man you work fast! That's better. When you open it do you get much flex? Also I'm thinking you might need a bump stop to keep it from going too far when it's open. I'm with this idea ^^^ from DaFuzz too. You haven't done the usuall overbuild on it yet Bill...you need more metal.

Jim, I was concerned about flex, but when I cut the side bars out, it was still pretty rigid. I have a buddy that has a torchmate, so i have been thinking about a design to make for some gussets... There is your "overbuilt"!

And the hi-lift mount is in the works! Also looking into putting Jerry cans on the sides of the tire.

Fuzz, I'm gonna mount my plate there eventually, I'm gonna get the genright mount with the light and brake light.

As for stinger, my buddy and I were talking about that, maybe later.

... I guess I'm gonna have to fix that too…….

So here it is with the license plate and the light I got from Genright… it has a third brake light… kind of cool…

I tried to fit a Jerry can in it, and it is like 1/2 an inch too narrow... so that defeats the purpose of having it so wide! uggghhh, I gotta figure out another idea.

Mike, I'll have an 8.8 by the middle of next month... when we going Jeepin?!?!?!?

Well, here is my most recent addition to the "things to do" list…

Unfortunately, this was the last one in the yard with disk brakes and limited slip… the cover was gone, so there was no tag. I read 41 on the ring gear and got all excited, thought it was 4.10. After yanking it out, I realized it was 41 11, so I checked the door tag… sure enough "D4" L/S 3.73… ARGH!!! I was too excited to not take it home with me! So at check out the lady asks me if I have a rewards card. I tell her I got one when I came in, she said it wouldn't work until I register it, so she wouldn't give me the discount. A guy in line behind me was like, here put it on mine… saved me $50!!! I told the guys I wish I had some cash to give him, he told me it was no prob, he got the points. So after core charge it was $150, including tax!!!



I can't wait to get started on this!!!

... I guess I'm gonna have to fix that too…….

The plan was to get 4:10's, drive around for a while before regearing the front, hoping that 4.10's would be enough. But… I may try to regear myself, go straight to 4.88's. I don
't know…

Looks like my Savvy Offroad lights were stolen off my porch… UPS says they are there, but they aren't!!!!
