Nice rollbar add-on. Did you use a 220v welder or 110 will do? I'm looking to do the same but also add some in the front, looking for a welder but don't have a 220 hookup where we rent..

I used my 220v Lincoln 180 mig. I originally had a Craftsman 110v it wouldn't have been able to handle it. Not sayin a 110 can't weld it, a good quality welder like Hobart or miller 110v would probably do it. I just wanted a 220v for welding thicker stuff.

I see. In the market for a welder and I think I'm gonna hold off for a 220v

Installed new timing chain tonight. Camera kept takin a crap on me and not saving pics. I will take some pics tomorrow and post up what I have done. I'm kickin around the idea of doing a write up on how to replace timing chain and set timing after you've broke a chain and jumped timing. I'm no expert but figured I may be able to help someone else down the road.
It's been too long since I have worked on the jeep. Been working long hours and weekends and by the time I get home and help the wife get the kids to bed I'm too tired to work on the jeep.

Really liking this build. Mega thumbs up to the max!

Not much motion in the ocean, but I'm the captain.

I do 1/4" with my lincoln 110V mig , works great and very portable... Anywhere you have a 110 outlet... All my welding on my jeep, my kubota (chain hooks on the bucket and grapple) and my 10K trailer... Just saying 110 v will do a hell of a lot!.

Now back to the thread!!!

I agree but my craftsman wasn't up for the job so I went with the Lincoln 180.
