I know the boring stuff still messing with the wiring but made lots of progress and have heat shrinked all the unused wires coming out of the PDC now. I figured I have about 9 hours into this whole wiring Fiasco which isn't too bad for a guy thats never done it. Sounds like a lot but I've been taking my time and making sure of no mistakes. I've got lots of room in here to add extra stuff like lights too.

All I'm really struggling with right now is routing of my harness: (1) for cleanliness and (2) functionality so It dont melt. This is time consuming!

Had some help tonight running some wires.

He was wearing his packers gear as good luck so the hawks could beat the niners. Looks like it paid off for him!

It is sometimes good to have helpers with small hands to get to where we cant reach.

yep he is really a good helper. I spent MLK day building a new battery tray/PDC mount and lengthening a few wires and eliminating a few more wires. it turned out real nice and clean (at least I think so) I dont have any pics up since I had to rush off after I was done. Had to go and do an alignment on my wifes DD. I love having a father-in-law who works at a stealership they got lots of cool equipment I can play with.

Ok grabbed some pics while I was home for lunch. First off my existing battery tray was too narrow and flimsy for my big battery

and since I didn't want a smaller battery I chose to make a new battery tray with some beef. I had some 3/16" angle sitting around that was the perfect size.

Made some hold down clamp and bolted the PDC bracket to it.

Spent the evening making batt cables.
I like to crimp them. Then solder them.

I sure hope these babies dont leak cause they were a pain to get on. And the a/c bracket clearance is ever so tight.

They are just copper lug ends you can get them at any auto parts stores. I used my vise to crimp them, just give it a good squeeze its the solder that holds it together anyways then heat shrink the end and it will last forever.

Not sure if you tackled the VSS yet but when I bought one from the jags, place for my Howell kit, he said it doesn't matter how it's connected because it's just the two wires.

A whole different animal but maybe it would help.

Adopt your pets. Don't shop for them.
