Well it looks like I'll be using one of those V8 conversion radiators now. The upper hose neck is cracked at the reservoir. I may just braze it back on there but that will probably only be a bandaid and will fail on me at the worst time. Which one off of ebay is everyone using??

That wiring looks familiar. Lol. I think I am going with a Champion radiator.

I was looking at the Champion and it seemed decent but somebody told me they are made in China. Which isn't normally a big deal but with the built in trans cooler I didn't want to have issues. Since you don't need a trans cooler I'm sure it would be fine.

I got mine from Superior Radiator. It was $300 but would probably be cheaper without the trans cooler.

All the ones I'm finding on ebay are around $160 the champion ones are $190 and my buddy had a victory one for $180'ish I think I may just get an ebay special for the $160 unless someone tells me its a bad idea. I wont buy from a seller oversea's

I'm all for saving money but I didn't want to skimp on a radiator. I wanted to make sure my V8 stays cool enough. And in the summer I still have problems overheating.

I have a buddy on another forum that is running a stock aluminum radiator from a 95 2.5 with his 5.2 and it cools it just fine.

My stock shroud is all still intact and hopefully I can reuse it when I get a new rad im still up in the air on it. I might wait till tax returns to order a new rad and just jb weld this one together to get it up and running and see how well this motor runs my rad support is independent of my grill so it literally takes ten minutes to unbolt my radiator and grill to remove from the jeep.
I really want to make some tube fender so I plan to keep my stock fenders off until I can get some made so it will be easy to work in and around this motor, just have to stay clear of water holes and mud which I both hate!!

Well I finally checked out that jeepslimited site and downloaded the service manual for the zj 5.2 now I have all the wiring diagrams I can handle. I even took a flash drive and saved the pages relating to the engine and diagnostics and sensors. Then I took that to the local printing place and had them print me off full page copies along with my wiring diagrams. I printed off my yj one too so for less than a ten spot I got a complete service manual specific for my jeep with a 5.2. I put it all together in a three ring binder.

I don't regret paying $250 for a plug and play harness. I did NOT want to deal with all of that

The cheapest I could find for plug and play was $650. $250 aint sounding bad right about now lol. I think I've got it now look on the bright side I will know every sensor and wire by name and where they go so cant be too bad besides I become an insomniac so I dont go to sleep until 1am now, so got nothing better to do.

Made this little bracket for my fuel pump to mount to

Decided to mount my pump here it seems like the most logical place to do it. Its above the skid plate protected from being ripped off the frame.
