Thanks Lou!
Well got stuck today.

It was my own stuipidity not low enough tire pressure and let the wheel spin to much. I had them at 9 psi after the photo we dropped em down to 3 psi. In my defense it was about 2" of powder on top of crusty drift then sugar snow under that.

Went with the local club never wheeled with these guys before and I must say great group of guys. Can't wait to go again.

I'm thinking about grooving my tsl's like this.

29557-grooooooovy-groovy-1.jpg

Yesterday in the snow I had to air down to 3 psi to get any kind of traction, and even after that I struggled. There are just so stiff. I think this will help. Any tips on grooving. I have an idea I got off pirate so we will see how it goes.

I did a test cut on my spare,

forumrunner_20130324_102304.jpg

I chucked a 3/4 gasket punch into my cordless drill and went to town on the tread. It cut like butter and only took a few seconds. We shall see how Sharp it stays, hopefully I can do a few tires with it.

Thanks!
I did a little more on the tire grooving before bed. It went pretty well it only took me 30 min to go around the whole tire. Not too shabby for a cheap hole punch. lol! it was just a matter of finding the right speed for it to go through smoothly. I figure I will do one tire a night.
Started with this:

I grooved one more tire last night, the punch I'm using is still going strong and cuts good. Although I started to get a blister on my hand from the drill. No pain no gain.

Yeah I can see why. I can't wait to try them out I should get the two front ones done this weekend. Then its on to wiring up my cb. I have never had a use for a cb before just always used hand helds. The club I'm hangin with lately likes to use cb's so I figured I better pull it out of storage and dust it off. And get an antenna. Any suggestions on a good cheap antenna?

Ok I'm happy to report I built one...... Oh wait you guys don't know what I'm talking about huh?? We were discussing this topic in another build thread and we sort of had a challenge going. Ok maybe it was just me...
Still don't know what it is?? Well its a quick tire deflator like the currie one.

forumrunner_20130329_143423.jpg

Now I know you can buy the currie one for around $30 bones, but who cares I made my own. For those of you who know what the currie tire deflator is then you know that it quickly deflates your tires by removing the valve core while containing it inside itself. When you get the desired tire pressure simply screw the valve back in and walla.
Mine works in a similar way I can simply remove the core and deflate my tires while monitoring my pressure when I'm done screw the core back in and bam 3 psi in under 2 min.
I plan to simplify it more and refine it but it works good. I know what your thinking, but Seth, you can't build that for cheaper than you can buy the currie one!! I know, I know I must admit you are right, but most of these supplies I had laying around in my shop so ...
So any way I am making a video and plan to post it up on how it works
